Until quite recently, it was impossible to see the activity in a dog's brain. But thanks to Science (and lots of training), it has happened! Two dogs were trained to enter the MRI machine, lay with their head on a chin rest, and be perfectly still. The humans would give a hand signal that would mean "I'm going to give you a piece of hot dog!" and the researchers could see the caudate region of the brain light up, proving what we all know already. Dogs freakin' love hot dogs.
